INTRODUCTION

The Kubota CD is your choice for a high-speed compact disc. Available in two series, Kubota CD1001 and CD2001, and working widths from 2m (6.6ft) to 7m (23ft) and rigid-mounted, mounted-fold and folding trailed versions. You get high penetrating full cutting, intensive mixing of soil and crop residues, perfect levelling and soil reconsolidation in a user-friendly tillage tool.

Features

Conical discs

The conical discs on the CD provide a perfect cutting angle and ideal penetration even in tough conditions and maintain this high level of performance even as they wear. They are specially heat treated to make them the one of the hardest discs on the market but forgiving through impacts in stony conditions.

Maintenance-free bearings

High quality maitenance-free bearings with 5-lip seals are used on each disc. These bearings have been specially designed to carry heavy radial and axial loads and to provide you with worry-free operation even in extreme conditions. They are also used on all roller options for the CD to further reduce your maintenance time and costs.

Torsion springs

Rubber torsion springs on the individual disc arms absorb any shocks and keep the discs working where you need them. They also provide a forgiving auto-reset features when obstacles are encounted allowing the arms to rotate clear and then return to work for non-stop performance.

Lateral adjustment

The lateral adjustment feature on the CD2001 allows for front row of discs to be adjusted laterally as they wear maintaining perfect full-cut performance. By maintaining perfect full-cut performance the wear life of the discs are extended without impacting work quality. Longer cycles of disc replacement will save you time and money and lower your operating costs.

Field adjustments

All field adjustments on the Kubota CD's can be made without tools. Spacers on the hydraulically operated rollers allow simple machine leveling and depth positioning. Simple, intuitive and toolless field adjustments will save you time in the field.

Actipack Roller - for medium to heavy soils

The Actipack roller displays its superb working qualities especially on medium to heavy soils and also in wet, stony and sticky conditions thanks to the independent skids and adjustable knives.

Tooth Packer Roller - for medium to heavy soils

Optimum performance on medium to heavy soils with a good carrying capacity and self-cleaning effect. Carbide scrapers provide effective cleaning and the scraper bar can be easily adjusted centrally.

Single & Double cage rollers - for light to medium soils

10 round bars on the single cage roller ensures a good loading capacity and effective crumbling actions even in wet conditions. A combination of round bars and flat bars on the double cage roller ensures a good crumbling and levelling effect. It has a high carrying capacity and it is used for precise depth control.

Actipress Twin - light to medium soils

The u-profile ensure high carrying/rolling capactiy and self-cleaning effect especially for light soils. Due to the fact that there is no direct compaction as it is made with the soil contact, plough pans are avoided.

Lateral side deflectors

Lateral sides deflectors ensure the intensive mixing of soil and crop residues are kept within the working width of the CD to provide perfect leveling in all soil and residue conditions. They are parallelogram mounted so they follow the contours of the field and easily adjustable through a simple pin system so you save time.

Suspension system

Trailed CD's are equipped with a hydraulic suspension system. The dampening of loads in the field ensure the CD is always engaged at the right depth giving you a high volume of work and perfect level finish to your field. The suspension system is also active during road transport providing safe and smooth travel from field to field.

Integrated seeding option

The Kubota SH200 & SH500 seeders are available for all CD models and can be easily mounted providing as an integrated seeding solution. They transform the Kubota CD into a single-pass tillage and seeding unit. Ideally suited for renovating hay fields and pastures or the seeding of cover crops.
