Who are we?

As early as the 1940s, Maximilien Gagné focused his efforts on his agricultural machinery business and built the first garage of 3200 square feet. Max Gagné was known to be resourceful and united. The passion for the entrepreneurship and the agricultural world was passed from generation to generation in the Gagné family and in 1969 Jacques Gagné bought his father’s enterprise. Jacques had a growing vision for the family business and in 1977 Max Gagne & Fils Inc. obtained the Kubota banner. The Japanese technology attracted the residents of the region. In 2000, the business passed into the hands of the third generation and now it is Patrick Gagné who assures the success of the business.

Since 1985, Max Gagne & Fils Inc. is one of the most important Kubota dealership in Quebec. In 2019, Kubota Montreal acquired Max Gagné & Fils Inc.

Our sales territory is concentrated between Lake Memphremagog, the American border, Lake Champlain and the highway number 10. The enterprise has 15 employees and 10 of them have more than 10 years experience.
